In addition, please contact your insurance provider to determine the coverage provided as many companies cover Home Care Services.
How do I pay for service?
Unless, your service is directly covered by a third party, for example Department of Veteran Affairs or Health Authorities, you are billed directly from Maximum Home Support Services Inc. on a monthly basis. Payments are accepted by cash, cheque or money order at our office(s) or by mail.
How can I get help paying for service?
Speak to your Community Health Nurse or Community Support Worker about what your next steps are.
Do you have a full time nurse on staff?
Yes, we do.
Are your staff screened and bondable?
Yes, they are. We undergo an extensive criminal records check as part of our hiring process, especially pertaining to a vulnerable sector, ie. seniors and persons with disabilities.
Will someone check in with the family after service is started?
Yes, Maximum is in constant contact with the family and employees in your home along with annual Home Visits.
My mother is nervous about setting up some support, how will the process start?
The process begins with a call to Health & Community Services for financial assessment to see if you qualify for subsidized services. If your family member does, you indicate which agency you would like to use, Maximum Home Support Services Inc., and we take care of the rest in consultation with your family and Western Health.
The process may be a little difficult for your family member to accept at first. But if all steps are taken in consultation with your loved one, and all parties are in favour, there is much success in the delivery of home support services.
